Step 1: Command Prompt
To get a command prompt up, open up notepad. If you cannot find this in the start menu then open up internet explorer and click on view > Source and get rid of everything in it.
Now type in "command.com" (without quotations) and click on save as. Set the file type to all files and give the file any name you like aslong as it ends in .bat or .cmd and save it to your user space.
Now double click on the new batch file and a command prompt will appear.
Step 2: Finding the Profile Path
Now in your command prompt type "net user username /domain" (without quotations and replace username with your user name on the network).
Now some information about your user will come up. Find the line "User Profile" and make note of the path.
Step 3: Accessing the Profiles
Now in your command prompt type " net use o: profilespath"(without quotations and replace profilespath with the path you got from the previous step(If the path has spaces in it, you will need to enclose it in ""))
Now after that command has ran, open my computer and there should be a new drive in there labelled o:. Double click on that and it will take you to the profiles for all the pupils on the network.
Step 4: Taking Advantage
If you find the folder start menu on the o: drive, and then continue through programs and finally to startup, any file you place in here will run when a user logs onto the network. Also, from my experience, anything you place in here will run with admin privilages, which means you can edit the registry, change/add/remove/access other user's accounts and everything else really.
That will work if your school uses roaming profiles which most do.
